2000 State Championship Tournament Wrap-up

• ROUND 1: Saint John's hosted Doherty High School in the first round of the state championship tournament on Friday May 26. The result was SJ 3-0: 15-5, 15-0, 15-1.
• DISTRICT QUARTER-FINALS: Saint John's then played Xaverian High in Westwood on May 30 and won 3-2: 7-15, 15-13, 4-15, 15-13, 15-10.
• DISTRICT SEMI-FINALS: On June 2 SJ faced Holliston in the district semi-finals at Blackstone Valley and won 3-0: 15-13, 15-10, 15-7.
• DISTRICT FINALS: The season ended at the district finals vs. Needham on June 6. The score was 2-3: 10-15, 9-15, 15-11, 15-13, 7-15.
